Role Summary

As a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Recovery Registered Nurse, you will operate in a dynamic 12-bed unit, focusing on the pre-operative and post-operative care of patients undergoing catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring patients during their recovery from procedures such as coronary angiograms and pacemaker placements.
  • Assisting physicians during various interventional procedures.
  • Providing essential patient education and support.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Demonstrating flexibility and composure in high-pressure situations.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A current nursing license in good standing.
  • An Associate's Degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Step-Down/ICU or PACU, with prior Cath or EP experience.
  • Telemetry experience is also required.
