Job Title: Delivery Driver

At DOW Technologies, we are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This role is essential for the timely and safe delivery of our products from our distribution center to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 14'-16' box truck to deliver DOW's products to residential and commercial locations.
  • Adhere to all transportation laws and company policies while driving.
  • Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
  • Communicate with customers pre-delivery with your estimated time of arrival of their order.
  • Assist with loading, transporting, and unloading large and heavy items from truck using additional equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks, and dollies, as needed.
  • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including pictures and obtain customer signatures as required.
  • Establish and maintain outstanding relationships with customers.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any delivery-related inquiries or issues.

Requirements:

  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and maintain a clean criminal background.
  • Abide by all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Punctuality, good attendance, and excellent time management skills are required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to grasp, sit, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds and push/pull heavy loads up to 500 pounds using equipment in a physical environment.
  • Ability to sit and drive safely for up to 8-12 hours a day or as workload permits.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
