ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Culinary Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting all culinary functions under the guidance of the Executive Culinary Team. Your responsibilities will include:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a welcoming and positive demeanor while upholding professional standards.
  • Implement and uphold a guest service philosophy that guides team members.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Culinary Team to discuss assignments, business forecasts, and relevant operational information.
  • Ensure the highest quality of food is served to guests.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in cooking and line preparation.
  • Exhibit proficiency in meat and fish butchery, sauce preparation, and advanced cooking techniques.
  • Adhere to health and sanitation regulations as well as Legends Hospitality standards.
  • Deliver efficient service and quality products while fostering positive customer and client relationships through effective communication.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained in optimal condition and cleaned regularly.
  • Adapt to different service locations as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A culinary degree or completion of a certified apprenticeship program with 2-3 years of experience in the foodservice industry, particularly in premium services, catering, or concessions.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Proficient in working collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Must exhibit positive body language and consistently provide excellent guest service.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to make independent evaluations and decisions.
  • Willingness to accept and execute management directives.
  • Availability to work during major events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
