Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York. This 424-bed, Level I Trauma & Stroke Center has been recognized as one of the leading hospitals in Queens, proudly serving their diverse community healthcare needs.

The successful candidate will provide exceptional nutrition care to patients inpatient units, be part of the eight inpatient RD team, and work rotating weekends and holidays providing full hospital coverage. They will be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process, well-versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification, and efficiently organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.

We are looking for candidates who have a Registered Dietitian credential, or who are RD-eligible, excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal oversight in collaboration with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities, the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
