Position Summary: We are looking for a Leasing Manager who will oversee leasing operations, ensuring high occupancy rates and resident satisfaction. This role requires a customer-centric approach to create a positive impression on visitors and residents alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome potential residents and assess their needs through comprehensive qualification processes.
- Prepare necessary documentation for new residents, including move-in packages and lease agreements.
- Document all interactions with prospective residents in a timely manner.
- Conduct inspections of model units and available properties, reporting any maintenance needs to the Property Manager.
- Guide prospects through the application process, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
- Maintain updated availability reports and facilitate the application approval process.
- Assist in tracking lease renewals and follow up on renewal notifications.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and gather competitive market intelligence.
- Represent Valiant Enterprises LLC professionally at all times.
- Process rental payments and ensure they are handled appropriately.
- Accurately input lease information into the Yardi System and review with the Community Manager prior to finalizing agreements.
- Support the management team with various administrative tasks as needed.
- Adhere to community policies consistently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales is essential.
- Fair Housing Certification is required, or willingness to obtain prior to engaging with prospective residents.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and community management software.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and professionalism at all times.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training related to industry regulations.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Minimum of two years of relevant customer service experience.
- Present a neat and professional appearance during work hours.
- Ability to effectively address and resolve customer concerns.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, climb, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capable of walking the property for several hours in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. as necessary.
