As a Roadway Engineering Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting highway and roadway projects, connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs, and gain hands-on experience in design standards and construction planning. You'll also have the chance to hone your CAD and design skills using the latest software and work under the direct supervision of a professional or project manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of highway and roadway projects
  • Participate in mentoring and young professionals programs
  • Apply design standards and complete construction plans
  • Develop CAD and design skills using industry-leading software
  • Work under the supervision of a professional or project manager

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of completed coursework with a 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study/industry
  • Preference given to local candidates

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
