Sonographer

At Texas Health Resources, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Vascular/Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the use of advanced imaging technologies.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Vascular/Cardiac Sonographer to work in our fast-paced, high-volume clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a high level of professionalism.

• Deliver high-quality patient care through the use of advanced imaging technologies.
• Perform diagnostic carotid arterials and venous studies of upper and lower extremities and venous studies of patients with suspected peripheral vascular disease.
• Calculate, measure, and document appropriate values on tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians.
• Conduct vascular laboratory studies in accordance with vascular laboratory protocols.
• Ensure that all vascular laboratory studies are scheduled in an appropriate manner to satisfy the clinical situation.
• Maintain the vascular laboratory quality assurance database.
• Prepare and maintain operational logs.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment and order supplies when needed.
• May perform therapeutic procedures such as peripheral compression.
• Communicate with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.

• Associates Degree in a related field (preferred).
• 1 year related experience in an Echo/Vascular Laboratory (preferred).
• Successfully passed the Echocardiography Registry Exam Upon Hire (required).
• Echo Certification (required).
• Vascular Certification (required).
