Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our team at Triumph Group. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of operations in connection with the assembly, disassembly, inspection, rework, solder, calibration, and testing of electronic components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work from assembly drawings and documentation to identify parts and follow predetermined assembly sequences
  • Perform assembly, fitting, filing, reaming, riveting, crimping, swarging, adjusting, and inspection of electronic components and assemblies
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble returned or salvaged units
  • Detect defective or incorrect parts and request replacements
  • Assist in setting up equipment and tools
  • Use a variety of light machines and tools, including spot welders, drill presses, and hand tools
  • Use measuring gauges, scales, calipers, and other equipment to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Report any unusual conditions to the Production Technician and/or Supervisor
  • Participate as a team member and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in electronics assembly and testing
  • IPC J-STD-001 Certification preferred
  • General mechanical knowledge and background
  • Experience with PCB, PCBA, and electromechanical assembly processes
