Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in laboratory evaluations of electric drive components and systems, focusing on performance and durability assessments.
  • Formulate test plans, coordinate modifications to the Device Under Test (DUT), oversee instrumentation and installation, execute testing procedures, analyze data, summarize findings, lead weekly progress meetings, document results, create presentations, and troubleshoot any issues related to the test stand, DUT, and controls.
  • Collaborate with a team lead or senior engineer to gain insights into the role, with ongoing mentorship and oversight of testing activities.
  • Engage in a lab testing environment, typically dedicating 30% of time to desk work and 70% to hands-on testing or DUT preparation.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering with 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Prior experience in testing and product development, along with proven mechanical system troubleshooting abilities.

Desired:

  • Familiarity with DEWESoft DAS and Canape.
