Job Title: Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

At Jackson Therapy Partners, we're seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team for a travel position in a state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facility in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. As a travel OT Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work with patients with various conditions, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to promote patient independence and well-being
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Current certification in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum of an associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
  • Current hands-on CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Current medical documentation and testing
  • Current state and contract-required competency tests and credentials
