Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing high-quality audio-visual support for conferences and events at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute headquarters. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT department and audio-visual team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure seamless event execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for conferences and events, including setup and operation of audio-visual equipment.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including dry runs and setup.
  • Operate control room equipment, including video and audio switches, cameras, and streaming systems.
  • Support multiple meeting platforms, including Zoom, Teams, and Whova.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for AV-related hardware and software issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Three years of experience supporting enterprise IT hardware or A/V equipment.
  • Industry technical certifications preferred.
  • Experience supporting meeting platforms, such as Zoom, Teams, or Webex.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
