Job Title: Senior Art Director, Packaging and Branding

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Art Director to lead the creative expression across multiple fragrance and beauty brands. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the development of compelling packaging designs and integrated branding strategies that resonate with our target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to define and drive the creative vision for multiple brands, ensuring distinctive and proprietary brand presences.
  • Lead and nurture junior creative staff, guiding their development and upholding exceptional standards of creative excellence.
  • Develop and execute integrated branding strategies across print, packaging, and digital platforms, in close partnership with the brand and marketing teams.
  • Create impactful packaging and print content that aligns with defined marketing goals, utilizing measurable marketing insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the target audiences to inform and adapt creative strategies that resonate deeply with consumers.
  • Oversee the creation of trend research presentations, customized for individual brands within the beauty space.
  • Foster and maintain a streamlined and effective creative process across brand, marketing, product development, production, and creative functions.
  • Direct and oversee print production projects from conception to execution, adhering to the brand's aesthetic and messaging while managing budgets and external resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in art direction, preferably in the fragrance or beauty industry.
  • Proven ability to lead a creative team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in packaging design, branding, and print production.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in managing complex projects and budgets.
  • Adept at interpreting marketing analytics and translating them into impactful creative strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting ideas and directions clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency with current design software and technologies, including 3D rendering programs.
  • A strong understanding of working with vendors to develop both primary and secondary packaging.
