PT Faculty Pool Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced part-time faculty member to teach physical education courses at the Coast Community College District. The successful candidate will have a strong background in kinesiology, exercise science, or a related field, and will be able to provide instruction in a variety of settings, including lecture halls, laboratories, and online platforms.
Responsibilities- Teach physical education courses, including lecture and laboratory components
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of diverse student populations
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental and college-wide activities, including committee work and professional development
- Master's degree in physical education, exercise science, or a related field
- Valid California Community College instructor credential
- Experience teaching physical education courses at the community college level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The Coast Community College District is a multi-college district that includes Coastline Community College, Golden West College, and Orange Coast College. The three colleges offer programs in transfer, general education, occupational/technical education, community services, and student support services. Coastline, Golden West and Orange Coast Colleges enroll more than 60,000 students each year in more than 300 degree and certificate programs.
