Job Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist with the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer speech and language evaluations, tests, or examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients with various speech problems and swallowing disorders.
• Assess clients with various speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing problems and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses.
• Provide speech and language services to clients; monitor disease progression and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Instruct clients in practicing speech and language therapeutic exercises; provide consultation for clients working through speech and language treatment processes.
• Ensure all speech and language-related standards, policies, protocols, and quality requirements are met.

Requirements

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
