Position Overview
- Duration: 12+ months (possibility of extension or conversion)
- Location: Hybrid work model
- Compensation: $34 per hour on a W2 basis with benefits
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and inspection of Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) networks, ensuring reliable voice, video, and data services for both residential and commercial clients. Key duties include:
- Conducting field engineering assessments for proposed projects, ensuring cost-effective routing and design for construction.
- Managing all customer implementation processes, including site evaluations, node placements, and coordination of subcontracted labor.
- Overseeing contractor operations, securing necessary permits, access, or right-of-way agreements, and distributing essential design documents.
- Negotiating and approving any design or construction modifications as required.
- Researching and analyzing project plans, gathering necessary data, and compiling material requirements.
- Collaborating with public works personnel, developers, commercial clients, building owners, and utility companies on joint trench initiatives.
This role is integral to ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
