**Job Title:** Paraeducator Facilitator

**Job Description:**

• Provide individualized support to students in a classroom setting, assisting with behavior intervention and medical needs.
• Assist teachers with instruction and classroom management in special education and general education classrooms, lunchrooms, and playgrounds.
• Support students in enhancing their learning and academic progress.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a competency assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Completion of at least 48 college credit units may substitute for the competency assessment.
• May require a valid driver's license and compliance with District skill/competency requirements.

• Medical, dental, vision, and employee life insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day.
• Full district contribution for 6+ hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-6 hours/day.

• NCLB Compliance (48 college units or pass the Paraeducator Proficiency Exam)
• Proof of HS Graduation (High School Diploma or High School Transcripts or equivalent)
• Resume (Provide clear evidence of required experience)
