Project Management Specialist

Position Overview:
Manage the administrative, financial, and project oversight for Army Enterprise Marketing Operations (AEMO). Interpret and apply policies in accordance with regulations, directives from higher authorities, and ethical management principles governing work conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the activities that provide essential support to the Office of Chief of Army Enterprise Marketing.
Develop strategic improvement plans aimed at enhancing cost efficiency, scheduling, and overall performance of marketing initiatives.
Review and refine budget estimates and requests for sub-allotments submitted by various offices.
Communication and Reporting:
Prepare and deliver briefings, information papers, and final correspondence to senior military and civilian officials across all levels of the Army staff.
Recommend modifications to Army policies, objectives, plans, and programs based on analytical outcomes.
Employment Conditions:
Appointment may require a suitability or fitness determination based on a completed background investigation.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Travel Requirements:
Business travel may be required up to 25%.
A one-year supervisory probationary period may be necessary for new hires.
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet one of the employment authority categories to be eligible for this position. Experience may include paid and unpaid work, including volunteer roles through National Service programs and other organizations.
Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience is required, which includes presenting briefings to senior leaders regarding agency policies and organizational processes; analyzing budgets throughout the program lifecycle and implementing necessary adjustments; and overseeing a team, including evaluating employee performance and developing marketing strategies that impact the agency's recruitment efforts.
Evaluation Criteria:
Applicants will be assessed based on their competencies in Budget Administration, Leadership, Oral Communication, and Project Management.
Additional Information:
This position is part of the General Administration and Management Career Field. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. The role may require compliance with Department of Defense and Department of the Army certification programs.
