Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review 2D and 3D electrical schematics for field implementation and collaborate with other subcontractors.
  • Engage in coordination meetings to address conflicts while adhering to budgetary, constructability, and code compliance standards.
  • Create shop drawings, cross-sections of underground systems, and other necessary documentation for fabrication and installation teams.
  • Prepare and submit requests for information (RFIs) to clarify original designs and follow up on responses.
  • Interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical plans, including electrical layouts.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve issues and provide clear guidance to production or construction teams.
  • Travel to various project locations as necessary.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a BIM-related position.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk, Revit, and Navisworks is essential.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM 360 Glue, BIM Collaborate, or similar collaboration software is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction processes and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of 3D coordination techniques.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with folder structures, email communication, and keyboard shortcuts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
