Adirondack Health, a not-for-profit organization, is committed to serving the community in the heart of the Adirondacks. The organization offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services, and its facilities include the Adirondack Medical Center – Saranac Lake and the Lake Placid Health and Medical Fitness Center.

The Executive Director, Adirondack Health Foundation (Executive Director) is responsible for steering the vision, strategy, and oversight of the Adirondack Health Foundation. The Executive Director will design and implement comprehensive fundraising programs to achieve philanthropic goals, manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors and potential donors, and cultivate and secure significant and transformational gifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve philanthropic goals
  • Manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors and potential donors

  • Report to the President/CEO

  • Preferred certifications: Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE), Fellow of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (FAHP), or Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG)
