Surgical Technologist I Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist I to join our team at McLaren USA. As a Surgical Technologist I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare for scheduled surgical procedures by arranging sterile set-ups and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies, holding retractors, and anticipating their needs during the procedure.
  • Clean and maintain the operating room, including storing equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in the orientation of new colleagues and perform other duties as directed.
Requirements:
  • Must possess knowledge of sterile technique and anatomy and physiology, typically acquired through graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program or at least 2 years of experience in a similar surgical program.
  • BLS Certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of experience in a similar surgical program.
