Key Responsibilities- Provide or assist with patient care, including vital signs, weight, and personal care activities.
- Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to an RN.
- Assist with maintaining patients' rooms in a clean and orderly state.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Nursing students must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification is preferred.
The CCU is a fast-paced unit that prioritizes safety and quality. As a PCNA, you will work alongside a dedicated team of caregivers who are passionate about delivering world-class patient care. The unit is known for its high patient satisfaction ratings, low turnover, and shared love for the adrenaline of working in a dynamic environment.
Physical RequirementsThis role requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity, and good eye-hand coordination. The physical demands of this position are medium, with occasional exertion of 20-50 pounds of force.
