Job Title: 5th/6th Grade Basketball Coach

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced basketball coach to lead our 5th and 6th grade teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in basketball and the ability to teach and mentor young athletes.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach and supervise 5th and 6th grade basketball teams
  • Teach fundamental skills and strategies of basketball
  • Encourage teamwork and sportsmanship among players
  • Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff

Requirements:

  • Experience coaching basketball at the middle school level or higher
  • Strong knowledge of basketball rules and strategies
  • Ability to work with students of varying skill levels
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • First Aid and CPR certification

Working Conditions: This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with students, parents, and school staff. The coach will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to travel to away games and tournaments.
