Job Summary:
CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Primary Care Provider, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients.
About the Role:
As a Nurse Practitioner at CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. You will be responsible for conducting thorough health assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary and family care to patients, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and pharmacists, to ensure comprehensive care
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, as well as provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
- Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
Requirements:
- Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
