Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Taxation Specialist to lead our team's real estate taxation efforts. As a key member of our tax preparation department, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our clients' tax filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and sign tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, with a focus on real estate entities
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and potential risks for clients
  • Advise clients on tax strategy and planning
  • Collaborate with our team of CPAs and tax professionals to address client needs and inquiries
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members on tax-related matters
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting real estate investors
  • Communicate with clients to quickly resolve complicated tax issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA or EA required
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in tax preparation and review, with a focus on real estate taxation
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
