Job Description

This role involves conducting maternal fetal medicine consultations and ultrasound examinations for high-risk pregnancies. Our ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The successful applicant will be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and provide individualized care with integrity and accountability.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct maternal fetal medicine consultations and ultrasound examinations for high-risk pregnancies.
  2. Utilize NorthBay's electronic medical record system for documentation of office visits and ultrasound reports.
  3. Participate in morning inpatient board rounds via phone, collaborating with Labor & Delivery, Maternal-Baby unit, and Neonatologists for comprehensive patient care discussions.
  4. Round on antepartum patients as necessary to provide timely and thorough care.
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for high-risk pregnancies.
  6. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding prenatal care and pregnancy complications.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Fellowship Trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state.
  • Proven experience in MFM procedures.
Compensation and Benefits

The total compensation range for this position is $500,000-$580,000 per year, depending on experience.
