Job Description: As an Airport Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of aircraft.

Responsibilities:

  1. Loading, unloading, servicing, guiding, and directing customer aircraft
  2. Safeguarding customers' baggage, air cargo, and mail
  3. Lifting, loading/unloading, sorting, and transferring passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in and out of aircraft bins, belt loader or baggage carts
  4. Operating pushback equipment and maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers
  5. Receiving and recording customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials
  6. Picking up, delivering, and transporting cargo and baggage to and from aircraft
  7. Operating motorized equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, and push back tugs

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must be a local (in-state) resident
  • Valid In-State Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
  • Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis

Salary: Competitive salary: $20.18 per hour
