We are seeking dedicated inpatient psychiatrists to join our healthcare facility. This full-time role offers a balanced schedule of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Our 22-bed adult psychiatric unit provides an excellent environment for patient care with a supportive staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an average inpatient census of 17 patients.
- Conduct hospital consultations and handle histories and physicals.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team including a nurse manager, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and social service staff.
- Participate in a structured call schedule, with coverage provided by hospitalists during off-hours.
- Competitive salary aligned with MGMA standards.
- Generous sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.
- Funding for continuing medical education (CME) up to $4,500.
- Comprehensive malpractice coverage with tail coverage provided upon completion of the contract.
