Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in the Department of Hematology/Oncology. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, develop treatment plans, and educate patients on their conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hematology/oncology patient care in conjunction with developing treatment plans and providing patient education.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders.
- Collaborate with a team of oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
Requirements:
- Clinical expertise in the management of acute and chronic conditions related to cancer and blood disorders.
- Previous oncology experience and oncology certification are preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
