About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team at Saint Joseph Medical Center. As a Clinical Liaison, you will play a critical role in maintaining administrative responsibility for the oversight of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) on predesignated units assigned by the House Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with LVNs, Clinical Supervisors, Unit Directors/Managers, and House Supervisors to assist with tasks as appropriate and within their scope of practice.
  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current federal and/or state regulations.
  • Manage and oversee departmental LVNs, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and administration both verbally and in writing.
  • Report unit status to the House Supervisor and provide updates as needed.
Requirements
  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certification 30 days upon hire and maintenance of current certification for ER, ICU, and Telemetry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • RN-C within 2 years of hire.
