Job Summary

Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems, INC is seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
  • Follow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures.
  • Perform advanced-level assembly functions, which may include prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection.
  • Interpret blueprints, Process Flow Instructions and other written or verbal instructions.
  • Must be trained across all assembly stages, work with Engineering to build 1st articles by interpreting print/specification with no process provided and the ability to interpret/assemble all units in dept.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with wiring and crimping to precise specifications.
  • Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
