Job Summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neurology and Oncology Unit. As a RN in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with neurological and oncological diagnoses, including those with terminal illnesses and hospice respite needs.
  • Manage chemotherapy side effects, cancer symptoms, and immunosuppressed patients, as well as provide specialized care for orthopedic oncology patients, wound care, pain management, and patient education.
  • Administer blood products, manage PICC and central lines, and provide palliative and end-of-life care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • Nursing degree from an accredited school.
  • Current RN license in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
