About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support our Combat Mission Systems business in the area of ground combat vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical engineering support in the manufacture of printed circuit board assembly (PCBA)/circuit card assembly (CCA) and associated system Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) enclosures.
  • Closely work with one or more electronics suppliers to resolve supplier quality and manufacturing process concerns.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and support the resolution of supplier quality problems by conducting defect investigations, analyzing defect trends, and leading continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure suppliers understand requirements and expectations; make progress reports and present findings.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-600 and IPC J-STD-001, as well as subordinate IPC standards/guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 is strongly desired.
  • Effective, practical problem solver using structured problem-solving methods and systems.
  • Understanding of technical drawing requirements with ability to determine compliance.
  • Computer skills to include MS Office Suite and related industry software applications.
  • Effective, clear communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a relevant function and industry.
