MCKEEVER ENTERPRISES INC is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier and Sales Team Member to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, making eye contact, and thanking each customer that you service.
- Point of Sale Operations: Quickly and efficiently check items in a cashier lane, maintain current knowledge of all government regulations regarding WIC orders, food stamps, health department guidelines, alcohol and tobacco sales, and lottery sales (where applicable).
- Inventory Management: Maintain not only a clean cashier stand, but a clean overall store, including sacking groceries for customers as needed and returning products to shelves.
- Customer Assistance: Assist customers in locating items throughout the store and handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional, courteous manner and follow through to the best possible resolution.
- Sales Promotion: Promote sales of additional items and count exchange media accurately including cash, check, WIC, food stamps, coupons, etc.
- Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old, have good communication skills, exceptional customer service skills, be reliable, and show a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Physical Requirements: Constant standing 4-8 hour shifts, frequent walking, bending, twisting, and reaching, repetitive use of left or right hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder, frequent lifting from waist to shoulders of up to 10 pounds, occasional lifting from floor to waist of up to 36 pounds, occasional carrying of up to 15 pounds, occasional pushing and pulling of up to 40 pounds, and ability to work in a store environment.
$12.30/hour
