Job Title: Traveling Field Service Technician

Justrite Safety Group is a leading provider of industrial safety solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Field Service Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and self-starting individual to work as a Traveling Field Service Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing secondary spill containment devices across the United States. The ideal candidate will have excellent hand dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand project drawings to perform installation of spill containment material and accessories.
  • Travel within the United States and work at various customer job sites for multiple weeks at a time.
  • Use hand and power tools to perform the job, including tape measures, utility knives, and sprayers.
  • Work with various materials, such as vinyl, foam, aluminum, steel, and polymer.
  • Conduct inspections and repairs as needed.
  • Communicate project progress and site conditions to the Crew Lead.
  • Complete rigorous safety training and adhere to all health and safety standards.
  • Complete paperwork, including timesheets, expense reports, and site installation reports.
Requirements:
  • Background experience in spray containment is preferred but not necessary.
  • Have a great attitude and be willing to grow with the company.
  • Diligently follow safe work practices and ensure the safety of team members.
  • Ability to work overtime and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Class A driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a flexible team environment and travel extensively.
Working Conditions:
  • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds to waist and overhead.
  • Ability to use ladders at least 10 feet off the ground.
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, stand, and walk up to 10 hours per day.
  • Wear all required PPE, including FR clothing, knee pads, cut-resistant gloves, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
  • Good physical condition and endurance.
  • This position is an outdoor position with the ability to work in high heat and very cold conditions.
