Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement targeted interventions to address speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure consistent implementation of speech therapy goals
  • Document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on integrating speech therapy into the classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, early childhood, or pediatrics
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
