Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity in Central New York

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible, Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Physician to join our Hospitalist Medicine program at Physician Empire.
Company OverviewOur Hospitalist Medicine program is well-established within the hospital and consistently recognized for providing high quality care in an efficient and compassionate manner. The team consists of experienced healthcare professionals who work together to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
The program operates on a traditional 7on/7off schedule with exclusively 12 hour shifts, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Historically, the position has performed an average of 16-17 encounters daily plus admissions, working within a unit-based daily rounding model.
The team is comprised of 2 physician day rounders and 1 overnight shift, as well as 2 NP/PA day rounders. This collaborative environment enables our physicians to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices, ultimately improving patient care.

Job DescriptionThis opportunity allows our physician to manage and participate in quality improvement procedures to positively impact discharges, re-admits, and intra-departmental communications. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to improve patient care.
You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients, collaborating on diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Your expertise and experience will be essential in helping us achieve our goals of delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. A Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required, as well as any relevant licenses and certifications.
