Key Responsibilities
  • Product Definition and UX Design
    • Develop a deep understanding of our business processes and user needs.
    • Lead product increment planning sessions and document user stories in collaboration with the business product owner.
    • Write functional, non-functional, and technical requirements from business requirements.
    • Clearly document acceptance criteria for all user stories.
    • Create detailed visual process flows to demonstrate end-to-end business processes and relationships with various platforms and tools.
  • Product Validation
    • Perform product validation through sprints and deployment windows.
    • Assist quality assurance engineers in validating user stories in lower environments.
    • Ensure business validations are complete in the User Acceptance Testing environment.
    • Collaborate with the QA team to certify production releases and ensure requirements are met.
  • Agile Maturity
    • Ensure a steady flow of work by creating a rich backlog.
    • Deliver consistent sprint velocity by having detailed JIRA cards, fully refined and sized with the team.
    • Track dependent team requirements and ensure smooth sprint execution.
    • Assist in coordinating go-live activities, including deployment plans and checklists.
    • Communicate product information to stakeholders.
    • Ensure sprint goals are met each sprint.
    • Participate in scrum ceremonies and support team success.
    • Create estimates for user stories.
    • Develop test-driven development information.
    • Build detailed project plans for agile team work.
    Requirements
    • Formal Education & Certification
      • College diploma or university degree.
      • Certifications in Salesforce technologies are strongly preferred.
      • Certifications in Agile project management practices and/or product management.
    • Knowledge & Experience
      • 3-5 years of experience in the Salesforce platform ecosystem.
      • 3-5 years of proven experience with product analysis, writing requirements, and conducting business interviews.
      • 3-5 years of insurance industry experience.
      • Experience using JIRA is required.
      • Knowledge in Figma or other UI/UX tools is strongly preferred.
      • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce technologies.
      • Excellent software troubleshooting experience.
      • Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.

      Work Conditions
      • Hybrid work environment with some days in the office and some days remote.
      • Travel required for product planning workshops.
      • This position is local to Tampa and will need work authorization.
