Job Summary:

The Registered Dietitian is a key member of the Discovery Behavioral Health team, responsible for overseeing the Dietary component in tandem with the Center For Discovery Clinical Model.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with each patient on a weekly basis to implement and manage individualized dietary meal plans, taking into account their specific needs and health goals.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement nutrition-based treatment plans that support the patient's overall health and well-being.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' dietary habits and provide personalized guidance on healthy eating habits and nutrition education.
• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including dietary plans and progress notes.
• Stay current with the latest research and developments in nutrition and dietetics, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or eligibility for certification.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition science and dietetics, with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
