Job Overview

UDR, Inc. and its affiliated entities are in search of a 3D Imaging Specialist to enhance our portfolio of apartment communities.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This role involves the planning, staging, capturing, cataloging, and uploading of 3D interactive walkthrough visuals of apartments within the designated area. The position operates independently and significantly influences how UDR properties are presented to potential residents. The 3D visuals will serve multiple purposes, including marketing, advertising, and operational needs. Frequent travel is required.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports directly to the Regional Director/Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Design and capture 3D virtual walkthrough visuals using a Matterport camera for designated UDR apartments within the region.
  2. Manage the cataloging of virtual walkthroughs using the Matterport iPad application and upload them to the cloud via Wi-Fi.
  3. Oversee the daily schedule of apartments to be captured throughout the region.
  4. Develop and manage a strategic travel itinerary along with community logistics to efficiently capture visuals for available apartment homes.
  5. Maintain professional relationships with community staff, demonstrating utmost professionalism and courtesy.
  6. Evaluate, stage, and prepare the apartment homes to meet or exceed UDR’s standards, ensuring appeal to prospective residents as reflected in the virtual tour.
  7. Prioritize tasks and manage workload to ensure all deliverables are met or surpassed.
  8. Provide weekly updates on current work requests, including processing stages.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned or necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in creative 3D online digital marketing and photography is required.
  3. At least 2 years of experience in supporting or managing marketing team projects.
  4. Familiarity with Matterport camera, application, and Onesite is advantageous.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly preferred.
  6. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
  7. A creative eye for photography and lighting is essential.
  8. A valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are required for travel within the area.
