Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Oversee daily operations on roadway construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and plans.
  • Coordinate and manage the activities of subcontractors, laborers, and other team members to promote effective project delivery.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Implement safety measures and ensure adherence to OSHA guidelines, company safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct frequent safety evaluations and meetings to identify potential risks and uphold a secure working environment.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Act as the main liaison between the construction team and project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and project supervisors.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication among all involved parties throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present regular progress updates, detailing project status, challenges, and milestones achieved.

Resource Allocation:

  • Effectively manage and distribute resources, including equipment, materials, and workforce.
  • Oversee the acquisition and delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring timely access and proper use.
  • Monitor and control project expenditures to maintain budgetary compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Manager with a specialization in roadway projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of roadway construction techniques, materials, and industry regulations.
