Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Security Controls: Develop and implement security controls to mitigate identified risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide Expertise and Guidance: Provide expert guidance and support to our team on security-related matters, including risk management, compliance, and incident response.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that security requirements are integrated into business processes and systems.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and industry developments to ensure that our security controls and practices remain effective and relevant.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, information technology, cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience: Three years of cybersecurity experience with at least one year of experience conducting security assessments under ICD 503/CNSSI 1253 NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Risk Management Framework (RMF), or a similar framework.
  • Certifications: Must meet Department of Defense (DOD) M baseline certification requirement for Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, or CISSP or Associate, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.
  • Skills: Knowledge of independent verification and validation (IV&V) of security controls, general attack strategies (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK Framework), NISPOM, ICD 503, NIST SP 800-53, ICD 705, and other ICDs as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cloud Experience: One full year of experience supporting cloud environments and performing security assessments in a cloud environment (AWS, Google, IBM, Azure, and Oracle).
  • Operational Technology (OT) Experience: Expertise in conducting risk-based assessments within OT systems, including the identification of potential threats, vulnerabilities, regulatory compliance, documentation/reporting, and impacts on critical operations.
  • Writing Skills: Strong writing skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports and recommendations.
