As a PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth recovery of patients after surgery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Alaska
  • Experience in PACU or similar critical care setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
