About the Role

US Engine Valve is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment.

Job Summary

This is a direct hire position with benefits, offering a competitive salary and opportunities for growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a manufacturing setting, with expertise in electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance as needed.
  • Locate and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Complete projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, installations, and material handling tasks.
  • Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Ensure job functions maintain or improve product quality, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance functions on equipment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school, with advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical systems, with the ability to obtain a Hilift/Forklift license.
  • Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance.
