The PT Tech Role
We are seeking a skilled PT Tech to join our team at Methodist McKinney Hospital. As a PT Tech, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Providing direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and interventions
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, including functional abilities and treatment response
- Collaborating with teams to develop and modify treatment plans
- Educating patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies
- Maintaining accurate patient records
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of experience in Patient Care assistance or completion of PCYT or CAN program
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology (a plus)
