Inpatient PA Neurosurgery Specialist

MedStar Medical Group is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgery team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a unique patient population in Washington, D.C. and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurosurgery team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the inpatient setting, rotating through both the operating room and taking care of patients in the ICU and floor settings.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the inpatient setting, including rotating through the operating room and ICU and floor settings.
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with neurosurgeons and other healthcare professionals.
- Completion and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- CPR certification required.
- Neurosurgical and/or ICU experience required.
