About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandise Cleaning Associate to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive customer experience, and supporting the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the operation of floor care equipment and adherence to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the needs of the business by cross-training in multiple areas of the store, including the backroom, front end, and sales floor.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols and labor laws.
  • Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor care equipment.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
