Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist Trainee to join our team in Outpatient Radiology at NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced CT technologists and develop your skills in performing medically prescribed CT procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting up and operating CT equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
  • Work directly with CT technologists to perform procedures, following departmental protocols and standards.
  • Effectively assess patient information and status, and work with CT technologists to follow appropriate procedures.
  • Develop knowledge of the Hospital Information System (HIS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) as they relate to radiology.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Currently enrolled and participating in a certificate program from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Preferred: Radiologic Technologist License IV-Cert-NYS.
