Tax Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax planning advice.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Provide tax audit support and representation to clients, ensuring they are prepared for any tax-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and provide ongoing education and training to clients on tax-related topics.

Requirements:

• 5 years of tax experience, with a focus on individual tax returns and tax planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients of diverse backgrounds and tax situations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
