Job Title: General Service Technician

Join our team as a General Service Technician at Icahn Automotive Group LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing basic automotive services, including tire mounting and balancing, tire repairs, oil changes, and vehicle inspections. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment in the tire and service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair basic automotive issues, including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay up-to-date with rapidly changing automotive technology.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing engine oil and filters, installing and maintaining tires, and checking starting and charging systems.
  • Assist fellow technicians and mechanics in performing technical activities.
  • Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A passion for a career as a technician in the automotive industry.
  • Eager to learn and competitive drive to succeed.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

  • May work outside and be exposed to weather.
  • Exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
