Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess students' communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness
  • Develop and implement IEPs that address students' communication needs
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate speech and language services into the classroom
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
  • Current Oklahoma certification and ASHA certification
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
Working Conditions:

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a school setting, providing services to students in individual and group settings. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a full-time position, and the Speech Language Pathologist will be required to work a standard school day, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
